Terms of Use
Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the exec terminal iOS application ("the App") and Exec Cloud service operated by the developer identified as the seller on the App Store listing ("we", "us", or "our").
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not use the App.
Description of Service
exec terminal is a terminal application for iOS and iPadOS that lets you run local commands, connect to remote servers through SSH or Mosh, use local AI options, and optionally access Exec Cloud AI and Agent assistance for command-line tasks. Terminal features remain available without a subscription.
Accounts
Sign in with Apple is required only for Exec Cloud. You are responsible for maintaining access to the Apple account used to sign in and for activity performed through your Exec Cloud account. You may sign out or use Delete Account in the App. Deleting an account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.
Exec Terminal Pro Subscription
Exec Terminal Pro is offered as monthly and annual auto-renewable subscriptions. The App displays the current price, currency, duration, and included service level before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your Apple ID may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of that period. You can review, cancel, or change renewal from the App using Manage Subscription or in your Apple account subscription settings.
Exec Cloud includes a limited free allowance. Pro increases the available cloud AI and Agent usage but remains subject to disclosed fair-use limits, technical safeguards, and service availability. Local terminal, SSH, Mosh, and local AI functionality does not require Pro.
If you delete your Exec Cloud account while subscribed, Apple may continue billing until you cancel renewal. You can use Manage Subscription before or after account deletion. Purchase restoration requires the Apple account and Exec Cloud identity associated with the purchase.
User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- all commands you execute using the App;
- connections you make to remote servers;
- ensuring you have authorization to access every system you connect to;
- compliance with applicable laws and regulations; and
- consequences resulting from commands executed through the App.
AI Assistant
AI features provide suggestions and information that you should review before use. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy and appropriateness of AI-generated content before executing a suggested command. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsafe for your environment. Agent tools run on your device and may modify remote systems or files through an active terminal connection; dangerous operations require confirmation, but you remain responsible for every approved action.
Third-Party Services
Connections to remote servers, Apple services, CometAPI processing used by Exec Cloud, model download hosts, and a user-configured Ollama endpoint are also governed by the terms and policies of those services, including the applicable privacy policy. You are responsible for credentials, fees, content, and configuration associated with services you choose to use.
Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the licensed App in addition to these service Terms.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of information provided through the App, including AI-generated content.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.
This includes damages resulting from commands executed, data loss, system damage, or unauthorized access to systems, whether caused directly or indirectly through use of the App.
Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the App to:
- violate applicable laws or regulations;
- access systems or networks without authorization;
- transmit malicious code or conduct cyberattacks; or
- interfere with or disrupt services or networks.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. The date at the top identifies the latest version. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

A contact channel for questions about these Terms will be published on the Support page before release. Do not include credentials or private terminal data.
